Letter to the Editor: Thank You to MS Challenge Walk Donors

The 12th annual Door County 50-mile MS Challenge Walk was again a success, in large part thanks to the generous donors from Door County: Door County Trader, Econo Foods, Target, Egg Harbor Road McDonald’s, Al Johnson’s, O’Meara’s Irish Shop, Bay Shore Inn, the Sturgeon Bay Brownie troop, Sievers Fiber Art School, Sweetie Pies, Door County Trolley, Bonnie Brook Gardens, Grandma Tommy’s, Thyme Restaurant, Thimbleberry, Alpine Resort, Logan Creek Soaps, Hatco, Interior By Design, Door County Interiors, Blue Horse Knitters and so many friends and family.

A very special thank you to Door County Antiques for their most generous help with the MS Challenge Walk. They work with us all year round selling our greeting cards at their lovely store and they donate items for our silent auction, held in conjunction with the 50-mile walk in September. Without our amazing business partners in Door County we would not be able to help with the cost of research at U-Madison and provide programs for those living in Wisconsin with MS.

The event raised about $275,000 for research and programs for families living with MS. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
