Letter to the Editor: Thank You to the Community

Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) is deeply grateful to everyone who helped us make our 2016 Super Bowl-A-Thon fundraising event on Saturday, April 2, so successful. First and foremost, thanks a million to Penny Anschutz and the amazing staff of the Sister Bay Bowl for hosting us. We couldn’t do it without you!

We are so grateful to the Piggly Wiggly of Sister Bay for being our lead sponsor. Your support made such a difference this year. We are so appreciative of our lane sponsors: Ministry Door County Medical Center, Wilson’s Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor, Baylake Bank, Grasse’s Grill, Sister Bay Automotive, and Baileys 57. Additional heartfelt thanks go to: Peninsula Pulse (we love you!), Carlson & Erickson Builders, Inc., The Cookery, Joe Jo’s Pizza and Gelato, Blue Horse Beach Cafe, Kid Works, Harbor Wear, Edge of Park Bike and Moped Rental, Ad Quest Promotions, Lampert Lumber, Hammersmith Radio Shack, and Door County Ice Cream Factory for their generous donations.

We especially appreciate the amazing individuals and families who gave us their time to bowl and the wonderful people who pledged financial support to our bowlers. A special shout out to Scotty Weborg for his legendary fundraising and assistance with scoring! Once again, our community stepped up and made it possible for us to do our work with the young children and families of northern Door County. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
