Letter to the Editor: To the Person Who Stole My Propane Tank

This is just for the person who went in my backyard and stole the propane tank I just got filled for my grill. I am a 62-year-old crippled man living on a fixed income, not always making it month to month. I have peripheral neuropathy (nerve palsy), which makes it hard to walk. I can no longer hunt, fish or just take walks in the woods. Grilling is the only thing I have left in my life that I enjoy, and you took my spare tank.

I hope you can live the rest of your life grilling while I not only have to get a tank filled but have to somehow come up with the money to buy a tank. I go to Appleton once a week for treatment on my legs. They want me to go twice a week, but I can’t afford it. I am trying to save myself from ending up in a wheelchair.
