Letter to the Editor: Trump Era

Rhymes with “terror.” Unless the presidential polls are 5 to 8 percent off, the “error” of alternative facts will soon be over. I believe there are three key issues that voters will have to deal with in the future:

1) Don’t elect a self-proclaimed genius for president. Truly, he had more skeletons clamoring to get out of his closet than the people in Washington on Inauguration Day.

2) Get rid of the Electoral College. Any college that declares 1) a winner should have its license revoked.

3) With gerrymandering and partisan politics, both sides of the aisle should be ashamed of themselves. They spend more time on getting reelected than working for their constituents. We should put an end to career politicians: two, four-year terms across the board.

That’s all I have to say about that. Be safe and well.
