Letter to the Editor: What I Believe

I believe in America and the great opportunities that it offers its citizens. I believe in legal immigration. I believe in the southern border wall to protect us from illegal trafficking of people and drugs. I believe in low unemployment and a good economy. I believe that we need a strong defense and safe cities with well-trained police and fire departments. All lives matter. I believe in job training to help the unemployed gain jobs. I believe in buying American-made products. Tariffs should be imposed on foreign products to gain more revenue to balance the budget. I believe that a tax on money sent out of the country and a tax or fee from Mexican travel should be imposed. I love America and believe that those who don’t should be free to live in another country.
