On Tuesday, Dec. 7, while driving up the peninsula to show my friend highlights of Door County, I drove into the parking lot of the Log Den restaurant. They were not open for business at that time, but my friend enjoyed seeing the outside of the building.
Upon leaving, I got stuck in the snow, with nothing in my car to dig out with. The front door of the Log Den was open, and two women came to my rescue. The owner and a salesperson shoveled and pushed and pushed to get me out. Once again, Door County kindness was at work.
Thank you so much to my “snow angels” from the Log Den restaurant.
