Liberty Square Announces New State-of-the-Art Website

Richard Wegner, co-owner of Liberty Square, announced the inauguration of the company’s website on Friday, February 22, 2008. The website provides a comprehensive overview of the services and features of the 14,000 square foot Egg Harbor restaurant, retail and entertainment complex.

Liberty Square, which is open every day year-round, includes nine specialty boutique shops, a full-service restaurant called The Bistro, a gourmet food/wine/spirits shop, catering services, private dining facilities and special events. The all-inclusive complex was built in the mid-1990s as The Village Shops of Egg Harbor and sold in 2006 to Richard and Pamela Wegner of Jacksonport and Christopher Anderson, Egg Harbor. After an extensive renovation, Liberty Square opened in the spring of 2007 and has rapidly emerged as one of Door County’s most successful retail ventures.

Wegner calls the company’s website an invaluable element of the overall marketing plan, saying, “We know that today many people plan weekend trips and vacations to Door County well in advance. They want to find out what’s available in terms of dining, shopping and special events to make the most of their time here. Our website will be updated regularly to help visitors and residents find out about Liberty Square and the tremendous variety of services and events that we offer every day, year-round.”

The Liberty Square website is available at http://www.libertysquareshops.com and was designed by Morgan Mann, Owner and Principal Graphic Designer of 1 Design Source (www.1designsource.com) located in Sturgeon Bay.
