Families are encouraged to enjoy the summer programming at Door County Libraries; creativity will be explored from many angles with activities and reading programs free for all ages.
“We know that students who don’t keep reading over the summer lose some of their skills,” said Beth Lokken, Door County Library youth services program director. “That’s why we offer fun reading programs for kids of all ages.”
The logging of reading hours and creative programming events start in June and continue into August at libraries in Baileys Harbor, Egg Harbor, Ephraim, Fish Creek, Forestville, Sister Bay, Sturgeon Bay and on Washington Island. Programs are open to Door County residents and visitors alike.
