Lorraine V. Rutz, 94, of Gardner, died Oct. 7, 2014, at the Algoma Long Term Care Unit. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Oct. 10 at Huehns Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay. Juana Jauregui-Sandoval

Juana Jauregui-Sandoval, 69, of Carlsville, died Oct. 5, 2014, with her dear family at her side. Juana was born June 24, 1945 in Mexticacan, Jalisco. On January 14, 1965 she married Efren Sandoval in Mexticacan. They were blessed with six children. Services were held Oct. 9 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. David James Hackbarth, 63, of Iowa City, Iowa, and Fish Creek, died on Oct. 4, 2014, in Iowa. Survivors include two children, Brian David Hackbarth, Fish Creek; Barbara (Erich) Pfeifer, Sturgeon Bay; sister, Carole (Rod) LaLuzerne, Green Bay. A visitation will be held at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay on Oct. 10, from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be 11 am Oct. 11 at Bay View Lutheran Church, Sturgeon Bay. Carl W. Carlson

Nov. 5, 1932 – Oct. 4, 2014

Carl W. Carlson, 81, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend died Oct. 4, 2014. During his college years, he married the love of his life, Juanita “Gus” Gustafson on July 7, 1956, and then graduated in 1958 with a degree in architecture. Carl and Gus purchased 40 acres near Sister Bay in the mid-1970s to design and build their summer home. Martha Elizabeth Koelling, 91, Sturgeon Bay, formerly of Chicago, died Oct. 2, 2014 at Pine Crest Village with her loving family at her side. Joyce Ann Jones (nee Rhodes), 82, of Sturgeon Bay, died surrounded by her family on Sept. 30, 2014.
