Literacy Door County has recently formed and will offer individual tutoring in speaking, reading and writing English, basic math and will tutor individuals acquiring U.S. Citizenship. Services will be available to anyone in Door County who wants to improve his or her skills for job placement or advancement, helping with their children’s homework or to communicate with a child’s teacher.
“We believe our programs will strengthen our community through adult education,” states Peggy Sankey, president. “Our purpose is to provide one-on-one tutoring for native and non-native English speakers.” Literacy Door County, Inc. is a member of the Wisconsin Literacy and ProLiteracy network.
