Little Sturgeon Bass Tourney Begins May 18

Little Sturgeon hosts the 28th annual Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament May 18-19. Tournament headquarters are at Wave Pointe Marina and Resort.

The Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament (SBOBT) holds two tournaments throughout the year, one in spring and one in fall. The annual spring tournament is the larger event, limited to 200 two-person teams.

Weigh-ins are at 3 pm Friday and Saturday, with the awards ceremony taking place later on Saturday. There’s also an opportunity for kids to have some fun at the tournament. May 19 is Kids Day; from 11 am to 2:30 pm, inside the tent, there will be activities and crafts geared toward kids. For more information visit sbobt.org/spring-tournament.html.
