Live Music at the Hitching Post Bar and Grill

Andy and Carolyn Ripp, the new owners of the Hitching Post Bar and Grill – located east of Highway 57 at the corner of Whitefish Bay Road and Glidden Drive in Valmy – just celebrated their first year in business, and it’s been a happy success.

To expand its music offerings, the Hitching Post will add a regular monthly music event on the first Saturday, 3-5 pm, November through February, to feature local, live music. Space is limited, so arrive early to enjoy a great sandwich, homemade soups, drinks, beer and a warm, cozy fire in the natural stone fireplaces before the music starts.

The Hitching Post Bar and Grill (facebook.com/hitchingpostdoorcounty) prides itself on locally sourced food whenever possible. It’s open daily (except Wednesdays), 11 am – 9 pm, year-round.
