Local Artist Exhibits in “Contemporary Realism Biennial”

Sister Bay’s Craig Blietz will have two paintings exhibited at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art’s “2010 Contemporary Realism Biennial” in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The exhibit runs from September 3 through November 7, 2010.

Blietz’s paintings “Clarity” and “Pastoral Dreaming” were selected for the exhibition along with other artist’s work from all over the United States. Contemporary Realism denotes a straightforward style of representational art that portrays the ‘real’ rather than ‘ideal’ subject. This exhibition is devoted to representing the current trends in Realistic painting, sculpture, and drawing, from across the country.
