Local Cheesemakers Earn Awards

Door Artisan Cheese Company of Egg Harbor was first runner-up overall for its Vintage Cupola American Original Cheese, and Renard’s Cheese/Rosewood Dairy of Southern Door placed third in the National Snack Cheese category for its Renard’s Whips – both in the United States Championship Cheese Contest held in February in Green Bay. There were more than 2,000 entries from cheesemakers nationwide.
