Pianist Jodie DeSalvo Performs At UU July 16

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County (UUFDC) is proud to present local pianist Jodie DeSalvo on July 16 at 7 pm. DeSalvo will present the program “Bach to Broadway” and will be joined by Door County’s own Cynthia Stiehl, mezzo soprano. Featured on the program will be classical favorites, Patriotic pops, Broadway selections, and Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.”

DeSalvo has performed several times at UUFDC and has been a faculty member at Birch Creek Music Performance Center for the last 20 years. She has also appeared on many occasions as soloist with the Birch Creek Symphony, and in recital collaborations with Stiehl throughout Florida and Wisconsin. She made her Carnegie Hall debut to critical acclaim. She currently lives in Naples, Florida where she has her own concert series at Artis-Naples.

DeSalvo performs throughout the U. S. and abroad as soloist, recitalist and conductor, and lovingly calls Door County her second home.
