Local Musicians Study at Birch Creek

Friederike Buergin-Witt of Sturgeon Bay and Jacob Alexander of Baileys Harbor have spent two weeks studying at Birch Creek Music Performance Center. They were among 31 other musicians from throughout the country who attended the Symphony Session at Birch Creek, which seeks to provide intensive, performance-based instruction to promising young musicians by immersing them in a professional, mentoring environment.

Birch Creek is celebrating its 46th concert season in 2021 and continues to support a student-to-faculty ratio of approximately two to one. Students hone their technical skills and learn firsthand about life as a professional musician
