Local Offices are on April 4 Election Ballot

Local, state nonpartisan offices are on the April 4 general election ballot. There are contests in several Door County municipalities and school districts. In addition, Washington Island and Southern Door Schools have school funding referendums. Statewide, there is a contest for the Superintendent of Public Instruction. Absentee voting opened March 20.

To find out who’s on your ballot, go to myvote.wi.gov, click on “what’s on my ballot,” and once there, type in your address, including zip code.

If you are not registered to vote and hold a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, you may register online at the myvote.wi.gov website. The registration site will give you the name of your clerk. Proof of address (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.) must be submitted with your voter registration form.
