Local Painter Donates to Library

Fish Creek Librarian Holly Sumerhalder accepted the painting entitled “Shh” donated by Mitch Heinrichs, a local artist. Heinrichs said he does most of his painting in his Fish Creek studio during winter and is in the library often to get books on tape to listen to while painting. Heinrichs said painting is as fun as finding out how the story turns out. Mitch works predominantly in oil on canvas and his work can be seen in his gallery at the Quarry House in Fish Creek on Spring Road.
