Local Quilter Is Semi-Finalist In International Show

Virginia Erickson, owner of Twice the Quilt and More in Sister Bay, is a semi-finalist in the American Quilter’s Society’s QuiltWeek in Des Moines, set for Sept. 27-30. Erickson was chosen to display the “365 Challenge Quilt,” along with 210 others. Entries in this international contest came from 37 U.S. states and nine countries.

First-, second- and third-place prizes in seven categories will be awarded, along with seven overall awards, including Best of Show. More than $50,000 will go to contest winners. Visit americanquilter.com to find out more.
