Mrs. Toby Mason (center) wore jewelry from Samara Jewelry Designs to the Primetime Emmy Awards.

Samara Jewelry Designs recently had the pleasure of adorning Mrs. Toby Mason, of Sister Bay, in designer jewelry for the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mason wore 14K white gold earrings with .87 total carat weight diamonds and two 12.3mm pearl drops; a “circle” necklace in 14K white gold with .37 total carat weight pavé diamonds; and an 18K white gold bangle bracelet, with 4.10 total carat weight blue sapphires, and a trim of .65 total carat weight round brilliant cut diamonds.

Mason was at the Emmys supporting her youngest son, Douglas Graves, who is a visual effects specialist originally from Green Bay and currently residing in the greater Los Angeles area. He was nominated for “Outstanding Special Visual Effects” for his work on Defiance, a science fiction television series on the SyFy Channel. The “Outstanding Special Visual Effects” category is the only category the show was nominated in, and even though it didn’t pick up the award, Mason said, “It was an experience we wouldn’t trade in for anything.”
