Looking for Tree Sponsors

The Door County Maritime Museum is looking for sponsors to decorate trees for their “Merry-Time Festival of Trees.” The festival will run from Nov. 15 – Dec. 9. All the holiday trees will be on display during regular museum hours as well at special events planned throughout the nearly monthlong festival.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enter a raffle in the hope of winning their favorite tree. Each tree will be decorated with ornaments appropriate to its sponsor.

“Businesses, organizations, artists and creative individuals are invited to donate fully-decorated trees,” said Trudy Herbst, the museum director of development. “A sign with the name of tree sponsors will be prominently displayed with your tree throughout the event.”

Creativity and imagination are the watchwords for the organizations or businesses trimming the artificial tree. Each sponsor will choose a theme and adornments that express the uniqueness of their organization or business. If interested in sponsoring a tree, call Trudy Herbst or Amy Paul at 920.743.5958.
