Lost Moth Gallery Opens for the Season

Lost Moth Gallery, featuring the works of resident artist Jeanne Kuhns, as well as guests artists Stacia Dick Schuster and Maureen McGrath, will open for the season on May 1.

The little gallery in the country is housed in the old Golden Glow cheese factory on the corner of Towline and Mathey Roads near Carlsville. Lost Moth showcases the mystical acrylic paintings of Jeanne Kuhns, who favors interpreting the world with her soft moody acrylic paintings, choosing topics that include landscapes, crows, cats, nudes and story portraits of local residents.

This season, look for new works and new themes every month in the gallery. Coming up June 1 will be a show featuring Jeanne Kuhns and Stacia Dick Schuster called ” The Sky is Falling.”

Lost Moth Gallery, which also has cards, t-shirts and the CDs of local musicians, will be open Thursday and Friday from 10 am – 5 pm.

Lost Moth Gallery is one mile south of Carlsville, one mile off of Hwy 42 at 5199 Townline Road. (Follow the blue signs on Hwy 42.) For more information visit http://www.jeannekuhns.com or call 920.495.2928.
