Lost Mothra Performs at Lakeside Park

Summer Music at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport will open July 10 with Jeanne Kuhns and Lost Mothra. Summer Music will be held each Saturday July 10 through August 21, 3 – 4:30 pm, at Lakeside Park at the corner of Hwy V and Hwy 57 in downtown Jacksonport with the exception of Cherry Fest scheduled for Saturday, August 7.

Door County’s band Lost Mothra includes lead singer/songwriter Jeanne Kuhns, guitarist George Sawyn, violinist Lynn Gudmundsen, and bassist Patrick Palmer. This high-energy group of musicians delights in performing their folk based original songs which include elements of blues and jazz. They also enjoy mixing in their creative interpretations of favorite cover songs.

The concert is free and open to the public. Guests are asked to arrive early for picnic table seating or bring a blanket or folding chair to enjoy the concert.

Cold beverages, cookies, and ice cream will be available from the youth group of Hope United Church of Christ. Sponsoring the concert is Port Storage.
