Love on Holiday to go Virtual

The Steel Bridge Creative Foundation will present Holiday Music Motel’s 10th annual celebration of the togetherness that only weather-bound (and pandemic-induced) isolation can bring: Love On Holiday: Songs of Love and Love Gone Away.

The online video collaboration – to be presented via Facebook Live and YouTube on Feb. 14, 7 pm – will pair musical and visual artists around the theme of love. Examining the language used in other art forms helps us to expand the language we use in our own. The Love On Holiday collaboration between musicians and visual artists seeks to do just that.

The visual artists who are loaning their works for this year’s songwriting collaborative are allowing those works to be mined and explored for inspiration, story and meaning; and to be interpreted and translated through the immediacy of songcraft performed before the public.
