Lukes Presentation Focuses on Spring Wildflowers

The Door County Master Gardeners Association is pleased to announce its presentation slated for April 13 at 7 pm with Roy and Charlotte Lukes at Crossroads at Big Creek. “Spring Wildflowers of Door County” is sure to be a terrific continuing education opportunity, inspiring attendees to beat cabin fever and hike the peninsula.

This program is free and open to anyone wondering about the glorious wildflowers seen each spring blossoming throughout the county. Well-known naturalists and authors Roy and Charlotte Lukes will present a wealth of information. The presentation will include some of Roy’s beautiful photographs, teach about the habitat in which particular wildflowers grow and prosper, and help people find out how to identify wildflowers that bloom here from April through June.

The Lukes’ presentations are annual favorites of Door County’s naturalists and gardeners, so plan to arrive early to enjoy an entertaining and fact-filled evening.
