LWV Encourages Voters to Register on Voter Registration Day, Sept. 26

In advance of the 2018 statewide elections, 2,000 groups across the country will mobilize to celebrate National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 26, and the League of Women Voters of Door County is proud to join this effort in encouraging voters to register to vote.

People can register to vote online (at MyVote.WI.gov), with their local municipal clerk (locate your local clerk by calling the Door County clerk at 920.746.2200), or at your local polling place on Election Day (bring proof of identity and Wisconsin residency).

No matter which method of registration you choose, be prepared to provide your driver’s license or state ID number (if neither is available you can provide your Social Security number) and an approved proof of residence that includes your name and current residential address.

A complete list of acceptable proof is found at MyVote.WI.gov. For more information visit leagueofwomenvotersdoorcounty.org.
