Madeline Jilot Receives Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship

A $3,000 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation 2015 Excellence Scholarship was presented to Madeline Jilot, a student and 2015 valedictorian at Sevastopol High School at a recognition luncheon hosted recently by U.S. Senator Herb Kohl (retired). The Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated academic potential, outstanding leadership, citizenship, community service, and integrity, and other special talents. In celebration of the foundation’s 25th anniversary, Herb Kohl has tripled the scholarship amount to $3,000 per recipient.
