Mah Jongg Groups Gather at YMCA Centers

Want to experience a touch of ancient Chinese culture right here in Sturgeon Bay? Starting Sept. 11, community members are invited to the Sturgeon Bay YMCA on Tuesdays from 1 – 3 pm for a free Mah Jongg group.

An instructor will be present the first week to work with those who have not played this Chinese tile game before, but wish to learn. Veteran players and beginners are welcome to bring their own Mah Jongg set.

This group is open to YMCA members and nonmembers. The success of the Northern Door YMCA Mah Jongg group (which has met every Wednesday from 1 – 3 pm since January 2011) can attest to how much fun can be had with this ancient tile game.
