Make Your Own Straw Ornaments with Marcy Farber

Years ago, Marcy Farber, owner of Cousin’s Walk in Ellison Bay, saw a tree full of Scandinavian straw ornaments. Because of her Swedish heritage, she wanted a straw-ornament tree of her own and learned how to make them. After making the ornaments for Cousin’s Walk, she began sharing this craft with others and offering a class. 

Learn how to make four straw ornaments Aug. 29, 10 am – 2 pm, at Cousin’s Walk in Ellison Bay; and receive instructions to take home. Take a lunch; refreshments will be provided. The class fee of $30 includes all materials. Space is limited, so advance registration (call 920.854.1926) is required.
