MAM Opens High School Art Exhibit

Opening April 20, the Miller Art Museum invites everyone to the 39th Annual Salon of Door County High School Art Exhibit to be inspired by the creative talents of Door County high school and home school students. The museum is steadfast with its mission to support and encourage the visual arts in young students and to honor and celebrate their accomplishments.

A special reception will be held April 22, 7 – 8:30 pm. Certificates of Participation, six Awards of Excellence and six Honorable Mention cash awards will be presented by the art teachers at 7:30 pm. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

During the exhibit, 16 tours of elementary students will go through the exhibit. Schools interested in bringing students are most welcome. Call ahead to reserve a time and a tour guide.

The exhibit runs through May 28. Admission is free.
