Grammy Award–winning vocal group Manhattan Transfer will perform at the Door Community Auditorium (DCA) Oct. 14, 7 pm. The DIVA Jazz Orchestra will make a guest appearance.

The Manhattan Transfer remains a cornerstone for great pop and jazz hits, a legacy the group has cemented over its illustrious 50-year career, now in the midst of its farewell tour. Founded in 1969, the jazz vocal group has explored a capella, vocalese, swing, standards, Brazilian jazz, rhythm and blues, and pop music. With 29 albums, eight Grammy Awards, a PBS special, and induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, this iconic group continues to bring extraordinary melodic and jazz-infused vocals to audiences that span generations.

The DIVA Jazz Orchestra is a hard-charging, powerful ensemble of 15 women, all immersed in the history of their craft and in total command of their instruments.
