Many Activities Planned for Kress Pavilion Open House

The community is invited to a county-wide celebration of Egg Harbor’s new Community Center and Library at the Feb. 17 open house. Open house attendees are welcome to wander the library from 10 am – 1pm and enjoy the many amenities the building has to offer. As intended, the new building is the place for Door County residents and guests to read, create and celebrate.

Activities include Read to Therapy Dog Nellie Bly in the Children’s Library; Corn husk doll hands-on presentation in the Maker Space with Coleen Bins of Chief Oshkosh; Village history displays with the Egg Harbor Historical Society; Video chat a friend in the Business Center; and Wii bowling and tennis on the big screen.
The Donald & Carol Kress Pavilion is open 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday and on Saturday during library hours. In addition to library programs, there will be year-round programming including Movie Night, Sustainable Living Courses, Maker Mondays, and the Graze & Sip Series.
