Maple/Oregon Street Bridge Closed Jan. 15 – 18

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region office announces the Maple/Oregon Street Bridge in Sturgeon Bay will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday, Jan. 15, through Thursday, Jan. 18. The bridge will continue to open for marine traffic at all times. The daily closures are for planned maintenance to replace various shims under the bridge deck which are showing signs of rust and corrosion. Detour signs will direct motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians to use the Michigan Street Bridge to cross the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal. The Bayview Bridge is another alternate route motorists could consider. All work is weather dependent.
