Marggie Hatala Earns Badge from National End-of-Life Alliance

Marggie Hatala has earned a proficiency badge from the National End-of-Life Alliance by demonstrating understanding in communication, ethics, values and professionalism. End-of-life doulas are trained, nonmedical caregivers who provide holistic, personalized care to dying individuals and their families.

Hatala is a former hospice nurse, author and Doulagivers specialist with certifications as an elder-care doula, end-of-life doula and care consultant. She shares her passion through public speaking and workshops and is a lead trainer, mentor and resource guide for Doulagivers’ end-of-life doula training programs.
