Maritime Friends Group Present Waterfront Concert Series

On Sunday, June 27 the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay will present the first of six concerts presented by the museum’s Maritime Friends group. The series will continue through August 1 with all concerts scheduled for Sunday, except Fourth of July weekend when the concert will take place Saturday, July 3. All concerts will begin at 7 pm and are free to the public.

The concert series schedule:

June 27: Peninsula Symphonic Band

July 3: Lost Mothra

July 11: Newtonburg Brass Band

July 18: The Martinis

July 25: The Original Big Mouth Quartet

August 1: Mike Raye & The Works

The public is recommended to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Old-fashioned ice cream treats will be available from the Maritime Friends. If unpleasant weather should occur, the concert will take place at Bay View Lutheran Church, 340 W. Maple Street.
