MARITIME WEEK BEGINS AUG. 6

Maritime Week in Sturgeon Bay will kick off with evening festivities Aug. 6, 5 pm, at Sunset Park. Indulge in delicious foods and sweet treats; enjoy live music; and visit the Destination Sturgeon Bay booth to buy beer and other beverages. Then set up a lawn chair or blanket to watch the fireworks at dusk. 

The fun will continue Aug. 7 with Destination Sturgeon Bay’s second annual Bloody Mary Social at Sonny’s Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria, 129 N. Madison Ave. Who will take the title for the best Bloody Mary and the best garnish? Dance along to Kevin Van Ness & The Talk of the Town while sipping your drink and voting for your favorites.
