Mark Naze Named 2016 NWTC Distinguished Alumni

NWTC recently honored Nsight/Cellcom Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer Mark Naze by awarding him the 2016 NWTC Distinguished Alumni Award. The NWTC Alumni Association chose Naze, who graduated from the College’s Accounting program, for his individual accomplishments and strong community involvement.

“There have been so many graduates from NWTC over the years, and so many people doing so many great things with their degrees, I am truly honored and humbled to be chosen for this award,” said Naze.

After graduating from NWTC in 1982, Naze went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College. It was his instructors at NWTC, he says, who prepared him for his accounting career.

“The instructors at NWTC had real world practical skills, which left an impact on my career to this day,” he said.

In 1984, he started working as an accountant at a Pulaski landline telephone company, Northeast Telephone Company, which is known today as Nsight and is the parent company of Cellcom, Nsight Telservices, and Nsight Tower.

During his time with Nsight/Cellcom, Naze has watched the company grow from 25 to more than 750 current employees with more than $300 million in revenue. In 2003, he was named CFO of Nsight.

Naze will be recognized at the NWTC Alumni Awards Reception on Nov. 15, 5 – 6:30 pm, at Lambeau Field. All NWTC Alumni are invited to attend.
