Mary Marcussen

Mary Jane (Chase) Paschke Marcussen, 73, of Sturgeon Bay, died Feb. 18, 2016. She was born at home in Institute, the daughter of Charles Robert “Bob” Chase and Clara Jane (Hartel) Chase. Her family eventually moved to Sturgeon Bay and made their home. She was united in marriage to Kenneth August Paschke in June 1959. Mary Jane initially worked for Milwaukee Shoe Co. in Sturgeon Bay until its closing. She then worked for Emerson Motors in Sturgeon Bay for more than 26 years. Mary Jane married Alton Allen Marcussen in Sturgeon Bay on Jan. 29, 1982. Al preceded her in death on Oct. 19, 2007. Services were held Feb. 22 at Huehns Funeral Home, Sturgeon Bay.
