Members of the Sturgeon Bay Masonic Lodge (H.S. Baird #174, hsbaird174.com) and the Order of the Eastern Star (Honor Chapter #1) prepared and delivered 241 traditional turkey dinners to area ADRC families and those who are unable to leave their homes. The meals included turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, brussels sprouts, rolls and pumpkin pie.
Lodge members and friends prepared and packed the meals in a safe environment at the Sturgeon Bay Masonic Temple, then delivered them.
Funding for this community outreach is directly related to the lodge’s annual Steamboat Dinner fundraiser, which, in 2021, will be held March 13, with drive-up carryout only.
