Matching Opportunity Starts for Rec Center Reno

The Washington Island Foundation, Inc. is excited to announce a $100,000 matching opportunity from anonymous donors, available through 2022 as a special incentive for “Renovating the Rec.”

It has been 35 years since John and Jane Mosling gifted the W.I. Mosling Recreation Center to the Town of Washington and established the W.I. Foundation. Since opening in 1988, approximately half a million visits have been paid to the Rec Center. A 60’ pool, hot tub, exercise and community rooms are the main features of the center. At the present, several of the building’s components require important upgrades.
