Max Martin Receives Educator of the Year Award

Max Martin received the Wisconsin Honey Producers Association’s Educator of the Year Award during the Door County Beekeepers Club’s annual meeting Dec. 17 at Crossroads at Big Creek. He has provided continual inspiration and education to beekeepers in Door County and statewide.

Throughout his 25 years of beekeeping, Martin has shared his passion for honeybees with the community by providing classes, hands-on experiences and mentorship opportunities. He has earned the respect of new and seasoned beekeepers through his willingness to share his deep knowledge to strengthen beekeepers’ skills and the honeybee population. Martin is a founding member of the Door County Beekeeping Club and a co-president.
