May Green Drinks Topic: Transition Town Initiative

The last scheduled meeting of Green Drinks will be held on Wednesday, May 26 from 4:30 – 6 pm at Glas, the green coffeehouse on Sturgeon Bay’s west side. The Transition Town Initiative, a global initiative that is taking root in communities of all sizes, is the suggested topic for the event.

The concept of Transition Town Initiative originated in the United Kingdom by individuals trained in the techniques of permaculture design and applied these agriculture principles to question the fate of a fossil-energy dependent culture.

Green Drinks is a social/salon style meeting for anyone interested in conversing about sustainability-related issues. There is no admission fee.
