MDCMC Dental Clinic Receives WPS Foundation Grant

The Ministry Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic received a grant from the WPS Foundation to help expand and improve access to oral health care to make certain that every underprivileged child and underserved adult has access to the quality dental care they deserve. The Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC) Dental Clinic recently received a grant from the WPS Foundation for $1,500. The MDCMC Dental Clinic is a nonprofit clinic that has been providing oral health care to the underserved since 1999. The Dental Clinic is the only clinic of its kind in Door and Kewaunee Counties which provides care to youth on medical assistance, disabled, those that have no dental home and those that are low income.

The WPS Foundation is funded by company shareholders, not by the customers of its utility subsidiaries, and is in its 52nd year. Through direct grants, scholarships and an employee Matching Gifts program, the Foundation actively supports improvements in the quality of life in the communities served by Wisconsin Public Service.
