MDCMC Dental Clinic Relocates Across Street from Hospital

The Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC) Dental Clinic is relocating to a new facility at 228 S. 18th Ave., Sturgeon Bay, just across the street from MDCMC’s Sturgeon Bay campus. The new clinic will open its doors on Jan. 11, 2016.

Last year, the MDCMC Dental Clinic served more than 3,000 patients from Door and Kewaunee counties, both children and adults. The new facility will feature private rooms for all patients, improved access and convenience and potential for expansion.

“We are grateful that a grant from the Door County Medical Center Foundation, funded by local donors, will enable us to make this move and continue to provide for the dental health needs of our community,” says Tanya Fischer, MDCMC Dental Clinic director. The clinic was established in 1999 to meet the community need for quality dental care for low income residents and Medicaid participants.

“Accessible dental care is one of the top three needs identified by our community health needs survey, and we are proud to be leading the health and wellness of our community by providing this service,” says Gerald Worrick, President/CEO of MDCMC.
