MDCMC Offers Diabetes Management Classes

Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC) now offers “Live Well with Diabetes and Pre-diabetes” classes to the public. The classes will offer tips and cover subject matter to better understand and manage diabetic conditions.

Carmen Schroeder and Ruth Norton of Ministry Diabetes Services will lead the class; they have a total of 35 years of diabetes education experience between them.

“We’re excited that Ministry has allowed us to develop this very important program,” commented Schroeder. “I’m confident that these classes will give those challenged by diabetes the information and tips they need to live a healthier life.”

The course consists of three classes per month and will be offered every other month starting in June at MDCMC in Sturgeon Bay. For more information or to sign up, call 920.746.0510.
