Meadow Restoration Program at Crossroads

Wild Ones will host the lecture “Restoring /Diversifying Door County Meadows” on Dec. 11, 2 pm. Speakers Nancy Aten, landscape architect, and Dan Collins, program manager and restoration consultant from Landscapes of Place LLC, will discuss the restoration project at Crossroads, specifically how plant choices are made, and then discuss meadow projects in general. The Junior Nature Club – a group for preschool children and their companions – will help decorate the bird feeders and Little Library at Crossroads at its next meeting Dec. 10 at 10 am. Attendees should meet on the porch of the Collins Learning Center.
