Meadows Gallery Honors Door County Art League

Contributors, the latest exhibit at Meadows Art Gallery in Sister Bay, is an invitational show of artists that, through their efforts and actions with the Door County Art League, tried to build and sustain the Door County art community.

The Art League for 30 years tried to foster, promote growth, educate, and sponsor fellowship and interaction between Door County artists. During this time volunteers were successful in this mission up to the time the League ended in 2016. This show is to celebrate the accomplishments of the League members.

Contributors features Mary Blotti Anderson, Gary Chaudoir, Jan Forkert, David Franke, Marty Gerber, Dorothy McDowell, Gale Ritchey, Penny Pfister, Ruth Sandor, Dianne Saron, Connie Glowacki, Marcia Nickols, Bonnie Sandstrom, Steve Stanger and Arlene Stanger.

Many different directions and styles of fine art are included, reflecting the depth and dynamics of the League. The show is from July 7 to Aug. 9. The reception is set for July 14, 2-4 pm. Stop by and have some wine and meet the artists.
