‘More Than Meets The Eye’ at Door County Makers Space

In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Door County is organizing a photo-journalistic series at Door County Makers Space titled “More Then Meets The Eye.”

The show is comprised of portraits and candid photos of seven individuals accompanied by their stories of how living with a disability enhances and creates challenges in their lives.

“More Than Meets The Eye” is a photo-journalistic community awareness project hosted by the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Door County, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Avenson Photography.

An opening reception will be held Oct. 12, 5:30-7:30 pm and the show will be displayed until Oct. 19 to raise awareness for National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Door County Makers Space is located at 26 N Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.
