Melinda Myers Returns to The Clearing

Limited seats remain for The Clearing’s Workshop Program, “Creating a Year-Round Landscape with Beauty & Interest,” by gardening expert and author, Melinda Myers. The class is scheduled for Sept. 18 from 9am – 4 pm. Tuition for the class is $89 and includes a catered lunch. Registration is required as class size is limited.

Myers will discuss planning and plant selection for interesting, year-round landscapes. She will also discuss using trees and shrubs to form the framework of your landscape, utilizing flowers, fruits, fall color and bark to provide garden appeal, and she will provide tips and tricks on drought resistant plantings.

Myers is a nationally known gardening expert and has more than 30 years of horticulture experience. She has written over 20 gardening books, including Can’t Miss Small Space Gardening, Month-by-Month Gardening in Wisconsin, The Garden Book for Wisconsin and The Wisconsin Lawn Guide. She hosts the nationally syndicated “Melinda’s Garden Moment” segments airing on 89 U.S. TV/radio stations, and is a columnist and contributing editor for Birds & Blooms magazine.
