Memory Café features Honor Flight on Nov. 5 Program

On Nov. 5 Dennis Skahen will present a program at the Memory Café at the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church. The program is about an “Old Glory Honor Flight,” which he attended. The mission of the Honor Flight is to transport America’s veterans to Washington D.C. to visit memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of veterans. Skahen recently made the trip with three WWII, seven Korean War, and 80 Vietnam veterans.

The Memory Café starts at 2 pm and is an informal setting of conversation and coffee for those with early memory loss and their friends/family. The program is also open to the public. An early memory loss support group is available at 1 pm before the Café. For more information call 920.743.3241.
